About our Driveway Regulations

Anyone desiring to construct, alter, repair or relocate a driveway connecting to an existing or proposed town road shall first apply for and obtain a permit from the Town Road Agent by submitting a Driveway Permit Application.  Before any driveway construction is begun, the property owner or an authorized agent must secure the written permission of the Road Agent.

If the existing or proposed driveway is located on a state road within the the Town of Harrisville, a permit must be obtained from the State of New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NH DOT).  NHDOT permits
