The Harrisville Pond Association

Read  What’s New – 2023

The Harrisville Pond Association (HPA) is an all-volunteer association of individuals who live in the area surrounding the pond, with associate memberships open to all. The purpose of the HPA is to promote and maintain programs that will sustain the health and quality of Harrisville Pond.

With the help of HPA members and volunteers we have established programs (Lake Hosts and Weed Watchers) to protect the pond from invasive species as well as monitor and improve water quality conditions in and around the Pond.

HPA works closely with the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Service’s Volunteer Lake Assessment Program (VLAP) to help with water quality testing, with a goal of testing three times every summer.

All these activities have helped us to assess and maintain the overall quality of the water so we can ensure that Harrisville Pond will continue to be a source of beauty and recreation enjoyed by all. In order to safeguard this precious resource please consider becoming an associate member, volunteering a few hours time, or making a donation. Contact one of our officers for more information.
