Public Notice

You are hereby notified that the Town of Harrisville Zoning Board of Adjustment will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at 7:00 pm at town offices, 705 Chesham Road, to consider the following:

Lawrence and Elizabeth Athan, 148 Silver  Road (Map 51 – Lot 26), applying for a Special Exception under Articles 5.4.1., 5.3.3. and 5.3.2 to replace an existing 2 bedroom, one-bath house and garage for structural reasons. The new structure on the non-conforming lot in the lakeside district also will have 2 bedrooms and 1 bath. It will be two stories and be accompanied by a new well and septic and improved drainage and impervious cover percentage.  The proposed location of the main house is one foot further from the shorefront, four feet closer to the north boundary line, and compliant with side setback requirements.

The board may take up any other business that may legally come before it.
