You are hereby notified that the Town of Harrisville Zoning Board of Adjustment will meet on Wednesday, August 19, 2026 at 7:00 pm at the Town Offices, 705 Chesham Road, to consider the following:
211 Breed Road, LLC, Breed Road (Map 40 – Lot 102-17), applying for a special exception under Articles 5.4., 12.9., and 12.9.4. of the Harrisville Zoning Ordinances to construct a 2,970 square foot, three-bedroom dwelling on a non-conforming lot. A hearing on this application is contingent upon the Harrisville Planning Board’s removal of a condition, imposed when the lot was created in 1981, that the lot have no further residences. The 1.46-acre lot is in the Residential Agricultural District.
ZBA members will conduct a site visit at 6:15 pm, immediately prior to the hearing, at Map 40 – Lot 102-17, across from 211 Breed Road.
The board may take up any other business that may legally come before it.
