Meeting Minutes

The meeting opened at 9:00 am.
Agenda, Minutes of previous meetings – SB Minutes of 2/19 and Joint Meeting Minutes of 2/11 with the Planning Board – The SB approved the agenda and both sets of meeting minutes.
Town Meeting – The board reviewed logistics of next Tuesday’s Town Meeting and confirmed presentation of the individual warrant articles. They also confirmed a decision on Citizen of the Year, to be presented during the deliberative session.
South Road Bridge – The SB discussed updates on project steps completed, steps that are in process, and an estimated timetable which is subject to receipt of the Wetland Permit and DOT approval to bid construction work. The SB also awaits the pending hazard reclassification of Russell Reservoir Dam and the potential need to coordinate bridge replacement and dam repair/replacement.
Correspondence and other business
-Pay warrant – The board signed the pay warrant in the amount of $253,436.92, including the school installment of $190K.
-HealthTrust – Before signing the commitment letter, the board agreed to have Andrea Hodson explore medical policies that other towns use and also meet with the Aflac Rep.
-SWRPC Meeting – Southwest Region Planning Commission is holding a meeting at the Village Community Center on Thursday, April 23, from 6-7:30 pm for SB representatives from multiple towns to discuss opportunities for regionalization.
-SB calendar – Following Town Meeting on 3/10, the SB will meet on Thur 3/19 at 9:00 AM, Thur 4/2 at 7 pm, Thur 4/16 at 7pm, Fri 4/24 @ 9 am, and Thurs 5/7 at 7 pm.
-The SB signed the Shoreland Permit for 5 Pond Road.
