You are hereby notified that the Harrisville Historic District Commission will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at 7:00 pm at Town Hall, 705 Chesham Road, to discuss the following:
HDC 2025-2, Historic Harrisville, Inc., 23, 25 and 29 Church Street (Map 32 – Lot 21, Map 32-Lot 22 and Map 32-Lot 8 respectively), applying to renovate structures at 23 and 25 Church Street, with use of the parking area at 29 Church Street, to create a community center. The modifications include a proposed deck addition to connect the structures, proposed new entrances to both structures, interior renovations, restoration of original trim and repainting of St. Denis, new lighting fixtures, a retaining wall for drainage, and new landscaping.
HDC 2025-3, Leslie LaMois and Andrea Hodson, 10 Main Street (Map 32-Lot 1), applying to install a 30-panel rooftop solar array, with 15 panels on each side.
The board will meet for a site visit at 6:30 pm at 25 Church Street prior to the public hearing.
The board may take up any other business that may legally come before it.
