Meeting Minutes
Select Board: Andrew Maneval, Kathy Scott, Andrea Hodson
The Select Board convened at 2:00 pm at Wells Memorial School during Town Meeting elections to discuss the following business:
Agenda, Minutes of 3/20 and 3/25 – The board voted in favor to approve the agenda with the additions of a Recycling Center item, the pay warrant and review of the 990-T IRS form for the highway barn solar installation rebate. The board voted in favor to approve both sets of minutes as drafted.
-The board signed the Intent to Cut for Map 10 – Lot 33.
-The board signed the pay warrant in the amount of $180,335.41.
– For the IRS Form 990-T for the highway barn solar array, the board moved and voted in favor to sign and submit for the federal government rebate in the amount of $44,639. for the highway barn solar array.
Recycling Center – Kathy Scott noted there has been no decision yet on a vendor for nonrecyclable material disposal. The board will ask Mr. Hoy to attend one of the next two meetings to review his recommendations on outstanding financial and non-financial facility projects such as machinery issues, storage, and the glass crusher.
Meeting calendar – The board will next meet on Thursday, March 20, at 7:00 pm to discuss board and committee appointments and assignments and a review of the results of Town Meeting. The board also will meet Friday, March 28, at 9:00 am.
