You are hereby notified that the Town of Harrisville Zoning Board of Adjustment will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at 7:00 pm at the town offices, 705 Chesham Road, to consider the following:
Adam Schepker, 69 Prospect Street (Map 51 – Lot 5), applying for two special exceptions under Articles 6.1.3. and 12.9.1. to construct a 24’ x 28’ garage twenty-five feet from the right-of-way boundary and within the 50’-100’ wetland buffer. The property is in the Residential / Agricultural district.
Akhil & Lee Garland, 9 Island Street (Map 32 – Lot 24), applying for two special exceptions under Articles 9.1.6. and 5.3.3. to construct a 7’ x 18’ woodshed atop an existing concrete slab and to construct a wooden pergola atop an existing open deck. Both proposed structures fall within the required 75’ setback from the lake.
John A. Cucchi Motion for Rehearing on ZBA Decision of September 20, 2023 to grant a special exception to owners of 153 Skatutakee Road. The board will consider whether to grant a request for rehearing.
The board may take up any other business that may legally come before it.
