You are hereby notified that the Town of Harrisville Zoning Board of Adjustment will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, June 21, 2023 at 7:00 pm at town offices, 705 Chesham Road, to consider the following:

Andrew Scanlan, 839 Hancock Road (Map 10 – Lot 36-1), applying for a Special Exception under Article 4.1.19. of the zoning ordinances to operate a home-based business. The property owner provides mobile fabrication and field service, primarily provided off site. The garage will be used for metal fabrication and welding, primarily during winter months. The property is in the residential/agricultural district.

John Croteau, 185 Eastside Road (Map 71 – Lot 13), applying for a special exception under Article 9.1.6. of the zoning ordinances to install a 7’ x 8’ Rubbermaid storage shed a distance of 10’ from the high-water mark. The property is in the lakeside district.

The board may take up any other business that may legally come before it.
