You are hereby notified that the Town of Harrisville Zoning Board of Adjustment will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at 7:00 pm at town offices, 705 Chesham Road, to consider the following:

Barbara Michelson and James Heffron, 58 Bancroft Road (Map 60 – Lot 64), applying for a Special Exception under Article 5.3.2., 5.3.3. and 12.9.1. of the Harrisville Zoning Ordinances to replace an existing 284-foot structure with a 384-square foot Accessory Dwelling Unit within the 50-100’ foot wetland buffer.  The footprint of the proposed structure will be further away from the stream than the existing building.

Andrew Macdonald, 33 Eastside Road (Map 72 – Lot 11), applying for a Special Exception under Article 9.1.6.1 of the town zoning ordinances to construct a 7’x21’ shed for boat storage just over 50’ from the highwater mark, within the 75’ shoreland buffer.

Akhil & Lee Garland, 9 Island Street (Map 32-Lot 24), applying for a Variance under Article 4.1.14 of the town zoning ordinances to construct a 425 square foot pervious surface addition to the existing driveway.

The board may take up any other business that may legally come before it.
