Site visit to Old Highway Garage – The SB met with the Police Chief, Road Agent, and Emergency Management Director to discuss the heating options for the old highway garage based on the building’s current and potential uses. The board heard the recommendations and input from the department heads. Given the onset of cold weather, a quick decision is encouraged and recommended. The board will revisit the heating options and will decide next week on a course of action.
Agenda and meeting minutes – The board approved the agenda as well as the Nov 4th minutes.
Restoration of Involuntarily Merged Lot – Josh Greenwald, realtor for 251 Hancock Road and authorized representative for Steve and Kerrie Gross of 250 Hancock Road, Map 21 – Lot 9, requested on behalf of the latter the restoration of the boundary lines for the tract known as Parcel Three in the deed for 250 Hancock. This tract includes an easement for the owners of 251 Hancock Road for leach field maintenance and driveway access and the Grosses would like to sell this parcel to the owners of 251 Hancock.
Following discussion and upon the recommendation of the Assessor, the SB moved to approve, per RSA 674:39-aa, the restoration of the involuntarily merged lot known as Parcel Three in the Deed for 250 Hancock Road (Book: 3178 Page 135) for the purpose of the sale of this parcel to the owner of 251 Hancock Road. It is a condition of this approval that the owner of 251 Hancock Road, Map 21 – Lot 10, upon purchase of the restored parcel, unbuildable as a standalone lot, voluntarily merge the newly acquired parcel with the lot known as Map 21 – Lot 10. The board voted 2-0 in favor.
