To All Harrisville Residents:
We understand that currently there are rumors circulating throughout the town surrounding Covid 19. This pandemic presents enormous ethical discussions.
Please be aware, under current law, frustrating as it may be, your town officials, Select Board, Fire Department, Police, Health Officer and Emergency Management Director are under strong legal constraints as to what can be communicated.
In the meantime, it is important to slow the spread of this virus, that you assume everyone around you, or even you yourself, could be contaminated. It is very important that you adhere to federal CDC guidelines on social distancing (at least 6 feet apart), frequent hand washing (at least 20 seconds with soap and water or alcohol-based sanitizer C19 Town Flyer, Clean Hands) and remain home. If you experience any signs or symptoms of scratchy throat, fever, runny nose, cough or shortness of breath or any known contact with a person confirmed Covid 19-positive, please contact your health provider, follow recommendations and self-quarantine for 14 days.
To our visitors from out of state, the Governor of NH requests that you please self-quarantine for 14 days.
As we are able, be assured we will communicate what we are able. Together we will get through this!
Trust that we are representing your best interest!!!
