You are hereby notified that the Town of Harrisville Planning Board will hold a joint public hearing with the Zoning Board of Adjustment on Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at 7:00 pm at the Town Office located at 705 Chesham Road. The matter of the joint hearing is as follows:

Mark and Karen Bemis, 129 Eastside Road (Map 71-Lot 1)  – The Planning Board will consider whether the proposed conversion of a barn/garage into additional sleeping quarters constitutes an Accessory Dwelling Unit which, under Article XXIX of the Town of Harrisville Zoning Ordinances, requires a Conditional Use Permit. Separately but informed by the decision of the Planning Board, the ZBA will consider the matter of a Special Exception for the Bemis proposal as discussed and continued from the ZBA Public Hearing of August 21, 2019.
