Broadband Committee – Ned Hulbert and Andrew Maneval discussed with the SB the implications of the language in the 2017 Warrant Article relating to the 12/31/2018 lapsing date and how current and upcoming expenses of broadband committee work could be budgeted. Discussion focused on whether or not the whole amount of $21,000 lapsed or only the $7,000 raised by taxation. The committee representatives reviewed past and projected expenses and reported that it expects to need approximately $1,500 – $2,000 between now and the 2020 Town Meeting. Following discussion the SB agreed that such an amount would be available for the committee’s work. The SB then recommended, and committee reps concurred, that, in the future, wording on any related warrant article would state that the funds are non-lapsing.

South Road Bridge – Kathy Scott will respond to Julie Ward’s question in light of the state’s visit and assessment.
