SB approved SB Meeting Minutes of January 17, 2019 continued to January 18, 2019.

SB signed DOL Waiver for back payment of overtime wages for three employees.

SWRPC Invite for Winter Meeting – SB regrets it cannot attend due to schedule conflict with Budget Hearing.

SB acknowledged receipt of agenda for School Board Meeting Scheduled for February 6.

SB acknowledged receipt of correspondence from ACE Rental regarding offer of outdoor power equipment.

Departments, Boards and Committees:
Library – Jay Jacobs inspected library roof where drip was reported. Mr. Jacobs believes origin of drip was inside cupola, and caused by unusually heavy rains and wind Thursday, but no cause for immediate action. Mr. Jacobs also inspected old firehouse roof but reported no issue at this time.

Tax Collector – Town Attorney informed SB that judge has not ruled on pending litigation with Thomas Carroll.

Other business:
Budget – SB continued work to finalize the proposed 2019 budget; SB reviewed Highway Department’s preliminary budget with the Road Agent; SB confirmed date for Budget Hearing is Tuesday, February 12, at 7:00 pm.

Chesham Dam – Erin Hammerstedt met with SB to discuss DES and NH Preservation Office proposal to post an interpretive sign with historical information at the Chesham Dam where work is ongoing. SB had no issue with sign. It was agreed that Historic Harrisville will post information about the historical significance of the dam on its website.

Paychex – SB requests more information about cost of different options and, if possible, a sample/mock paycheck.

Financial management softwareFollowing input from Alexis Pittman,SB moved to accept quote and program for Quickbooks Desktop Premier Version at $830 for 3 users for one year. All voted in favor. The software will replace SAGE as the financial data management program.
