SB unanimously approved Select Board Meeting Minutes of September 27, 2018.
SB reviewed quotes for road salt from Cargill and Morton Salt. Based upon information from the Road Agent and his recommendation, SB moved to accept contracts to purchase up to 250 tons at $82.28 per ton from Cargill and for up to 15 tons at $61.24 per ton from Morton Salt.
SB requests the proposal information from the law firm.
SB acknowledged receipt of letter from John Cucchi and will forward to Attorney Silas Little.
SB signed Wetlands Permit for Feller/Guido of 160 Hancock Road.
SB reviewed Hayes moisture analysis report of Police and Fire Departments buildings. Report makes no specific recommendations. No specific action was taken by SB.
Departments, Boards and Committees:
Assessing– SB signed corrected Application for Current Use for Ernest Klein of Brown Road.
Code Enforcement Officer – SB noted approved building permits for Timothy & Cynthia Barry of 663 NH Route 137, Gordon Snyder of 42 Blackberry Lane, Richard Grant of 2 Dion Grove, and Jeff Grosner of 199 Hancock Road.
Conservation Commission– SB moved to approve invoice for Jeffrey Taylor for $112.50 for his August 15, 2018 presentation to the HCC and the public on the subject of Japanese Knotweed.
All voted in favor.
Fire Department – SB will discuss with Fire Chief his recommendations for eye cleansing product.
Town Clerk– SB reviewed the information from the Town Clerk about Primex’s Conflict Resolution course. SB highly recommends that all staff take the class and note that it would occur during work hours. SB will investigate scheduling options further and will discuss with department heads at a possible department heads meeting on Tuesday, October 23, at 9:00 am.
Primex – SB discussed claim to be submitted for road damage from the September storm and will collect necessary information to complete.
October 9– SB will meet with Angela Hendrickson at 10:00 am.
November 1– Grace Levergood from Dam Bureau will hold a Public Information Session at Town Offices at 6:00 pm regarding the Chesham Pond Dam reconstruction project.
November 6– General Election at Town Offices
