SB signed weekly cash disbursements in the amount of $21,263.34.
SB signed SB Meeting Minutes of May 3, 2018.
SB reviewed and signed 2018 MS-232, Report of Appropriations Voted on at Town Meeting, totaling $1,289,992.
SB signed the tax warrant for $1,740,556 with interest at 12%. SB noted that tax bills are due July 3, 2018.
Departments, Boards and Committees:
Assessor– SB signed approved application for current use.
Code Enforcement Officer – SB signed approved building permits for Susan Coleman of 40 Brown Road, Jeff DeFusco of 199 Hancock Road, Rennie Timm of 59 Skatutakee Road, Donald Taylor of 16 Dion Grove, David and Mary Thompson of 67 South Road, Eric Spencer of 239 Hancock Road, and Robert Ludlow of 24 Westside Road. SB also signed application for Outdoor Event License for Cobb Hill estate.
Conservation Commission – SB acknowledged receipt of meeting minutes for May 2, 2018 and the email from John Cucchi.
Highway Department – SB discussed the three bids received for the paving of Hancock Road, which the following: Mitchell Sand & Gravel at $56.95 per ton with a total cost of $86,336.20; JDK Pavement in Jaffrey of $127,500 based on 1500 tons of material; and Advanced Paving at $64.40 per ton with the overall price the same as JDK’s price. Based on the recommendation of the Road Agent, the previous work done by Mitchell and the goal of getting emulsion work completed by September, Kathy Scott moved to accept the lowest bid submitted by Mitchell Sand & Gravel of $56.95/ton. Seconded by Jon Miner. SB unanimously approved.
Separately, SB discussed the need to repair the roof at the old fire department on Harrisville Pond and will solicit bids, as well as the need to redirect the light fixture atop the library. SB also discussed the potential offer by David O’Neil for gravel for town use and will continue the discussion with him.
Fire Department – SB will discuss the City of Keene 2018 Advanced Life Support Agreement with the Fire Chief before proceeding. This is for emergency intercept back up service.
Historic District Commission -SB acknowledged receipt of meeting minutes for April 17, 2018.
Zoning Board of Adjustment– SB acknowledged receipt of meeting minutes for April 18, 2018.
Other Business:
SB acknowledged receipt of the following: Veteran Summit Event Flyer, SWRPC Commission Highlights, Public Works RSA 231:79 Legislative Change and Legislative Bulletin #20.
