SB reviewed and signed cash disbursements in the amount of $4,881.33.

The SB Meeting Minutes of April 26, 2018 were approved by a vote of 2-1, with Kathy Scott opposing based on her disagreement with the description of the Street Light Committee.

SB acknowledged receipt of the thank you note from the Child Advocacy Center for the town’s donation and receipt of NHMA Legislative Bulletin #19.

SB acknowledged receipt of the NHPDIP/CSG Investment Rates

Departments, Boards and Committees:
AssessorBased on the recommendation of the Assessor, Jon Miner moved to sign the abatement application for Louis and Melva Velasquez of 149 Aldworth Manor Road (Map 60-Lot 15-1). Kathy Scott seconded. All voted in favor. Separately, SB requested that the Assessor review the Application for Current Use, and the information related to it, for Gary and Lisa Williams of Jaquith Road.

Conservation Commission– SB acknowledged receipt of correspondence between committee members and with John Cucchi.

Historic District Commission– SB acknowledged receipt of the letter from Silas Little regarding 3 Main Street and the application before the HDC.

Library– SB acknowledged receipt of the trustees’ meeting minutes for April 18, 2018.

Recycling Center – SB will arrange to have someone pick up the NH The Beautiful signs.

Tax Collector– SB signed payment agreement for 2014 property taxes.

Other Business:
— Anne and John Cucchi attended to update the board on their action regarding the voluntary merger application submitted by Pamela Worden to the Planning Board. The Cucchis stated they hope the attorneys can come to a resolution on the matter. The SB reaffirmed its position advising the PB not to approve the application unless circumstances related to the public right of way remain unchanged.

— Jeannie Eastman met with the SB to discuss the 150-year anniversary of the Town, which will occur in 2020.SB suggested she discuss the occasion and planning ideas with Al Chamberlain.  In addition, Ms. Eastman advocated for the appropriation of town money for anniversary activities through a vote at Town Meeting in 2019.

— In preparation for the summer season and the start of a Lake Host program at Harrisville Pond, Pegg Monahan asked the SB to clean up the boat ramp area there and at Skatutakee Lake. SB will speak to the Road Agent. Ms. Monahan also mentioned she applied for a grant from the state for the Harrisville Pond Lake Host program.

— The SB met with representatives of Historic Harrisville and the Planning Board to discuss the street lights and the upcoming meeting with Eversource to obtain information on the non-functioning lights and options moving forward. The group committed to keeping the lines of communication open on this project and any other matters of mutual interest.

— Memorial Day Service – A member of the SB will attend to present a wreath.
