Documents signed and reviewed:
SB signed weekly financials in the amount of $34,868.02.

SB signed Select Board Meeting Minutes for February 8, 2018 and signed revised Select Board Meeting Minutes for February 1, 2018.

SB reviewed the Warrant and Budget Spread Sheet. SB notes one change that needs to be made in the description of the Warrant Articles, with respect to the petitioned article.

SB acknowledged receipt of the engineers’ estimate of probable construction costs for the South Road Bridge Project together with the interim inspection of the South Road bridge provided by the NHDOT.

Departments, Boards and Committees:
Broadband Committee – Selectman Maneval reported that both an interim and now the final report regarding cell phone and broadband internet service has been received from the contractor, Interisle (Fred Goldstein). Copies of the reports have been provided to a committee established by the Planning Board for addressing these issues and are available on request. For further information on this, please contact Andrew Maneval.

Building Inspector – Mike Wilder met with the SB to discuss the Accessory Dwelling Unit article in the zoning ordinances.

Conservation Commission – SB acknowledged receipt of the Notice of Special Meeting on February 28, 2018 to discuss the proposed Warrant Article on the Land Conservation Capital Reserve Fund. SB also acknowledged receipt of emails from the PB and from the HCC regarding the issues raised by the HCC’s Warrant Article with respect to the LCCRF. SB made its point of view known to the PB by way of a letter written in the SB members’ individual capacities indicating disagreement with the PB’s opposition to the HCC’s action.

Town Clerk – SB signed Oath of Office for Neil Sandford for a 1-year term to assist the Town Clerk.

Other Business:
Common Threads – SB acknowledged receipt of the February/March issue of the newsletter.

SB acknowledged receipt of the following: SWRPC Commission Highlights; NHPDIP Investment Rates and Benefits; Community Development Block Grant Application Workshop.

SB has seen news reports on actions taken by other towns on widening of Veterans’ property tax breaks. SB requests more information on where Harrisville stands on credit offered by the town now and when action was last taken, together with eligibility requirements and amounts as well as number of current residents eligible and applying.

SB acknowledged receipt of the email requesting repaving of Mason Road. SB now has this under advisement and does not need a copy of the email in the future.
