Jay Jacobs signed the paperwork for the Police Department grants for the new radar sign.
SB signed weekly financials in the amount of $12,838.34.
SB signed Meeting Minutes for October 12, 2017.
Departments, Boards and Committees:
Conservation Commission – SB acknowledged receipt of the Special Meeting Minutes for Tuesday, October 17, 2017 and the email from Winston Sims regarding the approved grant for $5,000.00 for the work being done on the Silver Lake Boat Ramp.
Land Use Boards – SB noted Meeting Minutes for October 10, 2017.
Planning Board – SB acknowledged receipt of Notice of Decision for Approval of a two-lot subdivision. SB reviewed and signed Waiver of Municipal Liability for the Subdivision. SB acknowledged receipt of the Meeting Minutes for October 11, 2017.
Recycling Center – SB noted the flyer regarding new procedures for recycling starting at the end of the month.
Town Clerk – SB signed Wetlands Application for the Silver Lake Boat Ramp.
Trustees of the Trust Fund – SB signed Authorization to Transfer $125.00 from the Town’s General Fund to the Cemetery Maintenance Trust Account.
Zoning Ordinance Subcommittee – SB noted Meeting Minutes for October 10, 2017.
Other Business:
SB discussed the limited plot availability remaining at the Willard Hill Road Cemetery and will continue to deliberate options to expand burial space.
Alan Saari attended to discuss the ZBA and his view that there was a conflict of interest on a recent application. SB noted his concern but did not agree with Mr. Saari’s position.
Discussion of the financial statements and auditor’s report was tabled until next week.
SB acknowledged receipt of the following: Southwestern Community Services WIC Program; Primex Unemployment Compensation Program renewal for 2018; Monadnock Family Services annual report for the town; and NH PDIP Investment Rate and Benefits.
