Documents signed and reviewed:

SB signed weekly financials in the amount of $142,455.79.

SB signed both copies of the Selectmen Meeting Minutes for August 17, 2017.

SB signed the Adoption of Non-Qualified Retirement Plan.


Departments, Boards and Committees:

Assessor – SB signed 2017 MS-1 Summary Inventory Valuation.

Broadband Committee – Andrew Maneval updated the SB that the amount of funds raised as of August 24 stands at $9,320.

Building Inspector – SB acknowledged receipt of the signed building permit for Historic Harrisville of 69 Main Street.

Mike Wilder met with the SB to discuss interpretation of the section of the zoning ordinance pertaining to non-conforming uses. Andrew Maneval will prepare a question for resolution by the ZBA with respect to the meaning of our zoning ordinances on the subject of non-conforming uses when a property owner seeks to alter a structure under those circumstances. AM will run a draft by Mike Wilder and the SB prior to submitting it to the ZBA.

Land Use BoardsSB requests that Angela Hendrickson follow up on scheduling a Thursday night meeting with all the heads of the land use boards, preferably beginning at 6:30 pm.

Library Trustees – SB acknowledged receipt of Meeting Minutes for August 16, 2017.

Planning Board – SB acknowledged receipt of the Public Notice for Boundary Line Adjustment on Dublin Road owned by John Cucchi, Jr. (Map 30-Lot 32-11, Map 30-Lot 32-11-1).

Recycling CenterAndrew Maneval made a motion for Jon Miner to contact Matt Peard at Monadnock Disposal Service to prepare a proposed contract for 3 containers, along the lines of what was discussed at the recent meeting at the recycling center, for the SB to review, after which the SB will invite Mr. Peard to meet to discuss details further.  All voted in favor.

Safety Committee – SB acknowledged receipt of Meeting Minutes for July 13, 2017.

Other Business:
NHDOT – SB proposes a new date of Thursday, September 7, 2017 at 7:00 pm for a public hearing on SB38 funds.

Chabott Oil – SB decided not to sign the Chabott Oil contract given Rymes’s price is cheaper.

Rymes – SB signed 2017-2018 Contract for Propane Gas.

Eversource – SB approved that Hamblett will install the LED test lights and brackets. It is anticipated the lights will arrive by the end of August.
