SB signed weekly financials in the amount of $4002.03.
SB signed both copies of the Meeting Minutes of July 27, 2017.
SB acknowledged receipt of Child’s Bog Drawdown Letter and Public Notice.
SB signed Authorization to Transfer Funds from the Employee Benefits Expendable in the amount of $100,000.00 to the Town Employee Retirement Plan.
SB signed Authorization to Transfer Funds in the amount of $170,000.00 from the Operating Account to the various Capital Reserve Accounts.
SB signed Authorization to Transfer Funds from the Roads Infrastructure Trust Fund to the Operating Account.
SB noted that Eversource is monitoring 3 boxes they set up between the Town Offices and the Fire Department.
SB signed Highway Block Grant Payments from July 1, 2017 through June 30, 2018.
Departments, Boards and Committees:
Conservation Commission – SB acknowledged receipt of the letter from John Cucchi to the HCC regarding a lot-line adjustment.
Lake Skatutakee Association – SB acknowledged receipt of Notice of Dam Reconstruction Application.
Library – SB noted that the screen door has to be repaired to prevent it from slamming and that Gill Alexander will take care of the cupola lights.
Recycling Center – SB met with Matt Peard from Monadnock Disposal Service about possibilities of double-streamed recycling and other potential options for managing recycling in Harrisville. SB will continue to consider the matter. Separately, SB acknowledged receipt of the email from Phyllis Tarr regarding the return of the Town Office keys.
Town Clerk – SB signed DES Shoreland Application for Robert Ludlow of 24 Westside Road (Map-73 Lot-5), which acknowledges that the SB received a copy of the application being submitted to DES.
Trustees of the Trust Fund – SB noted the agenda for August 8, 2017.
Other Business:
Broadband / Cell Phone Study – Andrew Maneval updated the SB that $8,750 has been received in donations toward the broadband/cell phone study and that two responses to the RFP have been submitted. The deadline for RFP submissions is Friday, August 4, 2017.
In the matter of 19 Brian Drive, SB concluded from the information it has received that the matter is potentially a civil matter to be resolved between the neighboring parties. SB and Angela Hendrickson await a response from Silas Little regarding the legalities of the easements.
In response to Alan Saari’s request about the process for Highway Block Grants, the SB noted that the funds are required to go into the general operating budget, which is the response Angela Hendrickson provided to Mr. Saari. Regarding Mr. Saari’s request about repairs to the town office parking lot, SB noted that the Road Agent will tend to the matter as soon as his schedule allows.
Paychex – SB acknowledged receipt of the Retirement Plan Safe Harbor Legislative Bulletin.
NHDES – SB acknowledged receipt of the 2017 Project Priority List.
CASA – SB acknowledged request for $500.00 for this year’s budget.
SWRPC – SB noted Participation Survey.
SB moved to continue the meeting to 9:00 am Monday, August 7.
