Selectboard signed weekly cash disbursements in the amount of $ 2,367.03.
SB signed both copies of the Selectmen Meeting Minutes for May 11, 2017.
Regarding the presentation of the wreaths for this year’s Memorial Day Service, Jay Jacobs will attend and present.
SB noted request to put rocks at the boat launch on Childs Bog. SB will speak to Wes Tarr.
SB noted that on Friday, May 26, 2017 around 8:30am Chabott Oil will be coming to clean the furnaces for the Recycling Center, Police Department, Town Office Building and Highway Garage.
SB noted that the letter regarding contributions for the Broadband initiative was sent today to local businesses and residents.
Departments:
Assessing – SB reviewed Abatement Application and letter for Raymond and Joyce Jorgenson. Andrew Maneval made a motion to accept the recommendation of Tax Assessor with respect to the Jorgenson property. All voted in favor.
Selectmen reviewed and signed letter regarding the Land Use Change Tax for Katherine Upton of 54 Brown Road (Map-40 Lot-32-1).
Building Inspector – Mike Wilder met with the Selectmen regarding the Heath matter. SB agreed that the resident in question should be warned rather than fined at this time and reiterated the requirement they shared with the resident at last week’s SB meeting to seek a Variance from the ZBA.
Common Threads – SB noted that the deadline for the June/July Issue is May 24, 2017. Jon Miner will draft a note from the SB.
Hazard Mitigation Committee – SB acknowledged receipt of the letter of approval from the state regarding the Hazard Mitigation Plan and subsequently adopted the updated plan for the town.
Library – SB noted email from Susan Weaver about finding an electrician to fix the lights on the roof. Angela Hendrickson has reached out to Tom Tolman to assist with repairs.
Planning Board – SB noted Special Meeting Minutes for April 19, 2017 and Meeting Minutes for May 10, 2017.
Tax Collector – SB noted Lien Execution Report as of May 2, 2017.
Zoning Board – SB acknowledged receipt of signed Meeting Minutes for March 15, 2017 and signed Meeting Minutes for April 19, 2017 and Meeting Minutes for May 17, 2017.
Other Business:
NH.GOV – SB requests that Angela Hendrickson please forward to the Library and the Trustee of the Trust Funds the information on the Thirty Second Annual Seminars on Trust Fund Administration and Statutory Filing Requirements.
SWRPC – SB noted Conference in Keene regarding the Impacts of Drought on Wells and Landscaping for Tuesday May 23, 2017.
Regarding the bike racks, which are being provided to the town for free by SWRP, they are being delivered to the Town Barn for minor assembly on Wednesday, May 31, 2017. Heri Tryba has been advised of this, as has Wes Tarr.
Mascoma Bank – SB acknowledged receipt of Security Message.
