A Public Hearing was held at 6:30 PM to review the upcoming Tree Trimming on roads along the central and western sections of town, including Venable and Tolman Pond and Brown Roads. David Crane of Eversource stated that this is part of scheduled work that occurs every four years and that the identified trees will be trimmed to specifications with normal clearances. Mr. Crane further explained that Asplundh will contact any landowners along whose property work will be done and that many have already been contacted. At 6:43 PM Jay Jacobs made a motion to close the public hearing. Andrew Maneval seconded. All voted in favor.

SB signed Weekly Cash Disbursements in the amount of $294,639.95
SB signed both copies of Selectmen Meeting Minutes for April 20, 2017.
Andrew Maneval, as Emergency Management Director, signed the Acknowledgement Form for receipt of the Emergency Action Plan for Childs Bog Dam.
SB reviewed and approved the Application for Outdoor Periodic Event License as amended. Jay Jacobs made a motion to adopt. Jon Miner seconded. All voted in favor. Jon Miner will forward the approved version to Angela Hendrickson.
SB signed both copies of 2017 MS-232.
Departments:
Assessing – SB signed all three Applications for Current Use for The Seaver Silver Lake Farm Trust of 2011 (Map-60 Lot-39). SB signed the Application for Current Use for Marcus Poisson.
Building Inspector – SB noted the approved Driveway Permit for Carolyn Bailey of Lampman Road (Map-20 Lot-2-9), signed the Building Permit for Seth Kallman of 158 Chesham Road (Map-40 Lot-22-2) and signed the Building Permit for Sam Demasi of 181 Main Street (Map-30 Lot-38-1).
Conservation Commission – SB noted HCC report to Historic Harrisville, Inc. and the email from
Winston Sims regarding Russell Reservoir and the correspondence from Winston Sims regarding the price increase with the E. coli bacteria samples in 2017.
Library – SB noted the Meeting Minutes for April 19, 2017,
Planning Board – Sherry Sims and Heri Tryba met with the SB regarding the invitation by
Southwest Region Planning Commission to a workshop on the topic of Complete Streets to be held Friday, May 19 in Jaffrey. The invitation, they explained, was issued to officials of towns who have been working with the SWRP and the PB hopes for representation from SB and also from the Road Agent. Andrew Maneval further noted that on May 16 the PB is meeting with SWRP when a policy document on Complete Streets may be finalized. Sherry Sims noted that Monday, June 5, is next Community Conversations and the topic is on the agenda. Andrew Maneval stated that the challenge lies in applying Complete Streets concepts to a unique town like Harrisville. The SB also discussed with PB representatives the proposed options for preparing an official town map. SB is reviewing a proposal prepared by Henry Underwood of SWRP and will continue working with the PB to decide on the most appropriate and timely course of action.
Tax Collector – SB noted receipt of email from Rennie Timm regarding the lien execution.
SB signed Gravel Tax Levy.

SB noted thank you letters from CASA and Big Brothers Big Sisters.
SB noted NH.GOV’s Coffee and Conversations on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 in Concord.
NHMA – SB acknowledged receipt of Registration Flyer for Upcoming Mountain Demonstrations.
Southwestern Community Services – SB noted new Income Guidelines for WIC.
NH DES – SB noted 2017 Drinking Water Source Protection Conference Thursday May 18, 2017.
