As part of the 2014 Warrant Article funding the reconstruction of Hancock Road, the Town asked the Selectboard to engage a professional engineer to review any possible speed reduction measures that could be added to the road project to mitigate any speed increases of the motoring public.

The Selectboard is holding a public hearing at the Town Offices August 13th at 6:30 pm to allow Engineer Stephen Gray  to discuss his report.  Mr. Gray’s report discusses techniques used to slow traffic. He will summarize  findings of a traffic and speed study conducted by the Southwest Regional Planning Commission.  The report provides recommendations for the completion of the Hancock Road Reconstruction Project.
